I have had watercooling for a month now, its not as bad as people say, its random events like that happening, but so far I have not had any problems, I have an open res so its very easiy to make mods to the loop if I need to. Setting the wc up takes awhile but other then that, maybe a minute every 24 hours to checkup and stuff? If you are scared about overheating you can just setup your bios to shutdown at a certain temp, which I did. I never had my system shutdown because the wc stopped or anything. Just make sure you prep your pump correctly and your ready to go.

To be quite honest mate and I am sure alot would agree, unless your seriously pushing your clocks High air cooling is very effective and ultra low maintenance..........over the past year or so the advancements in high air coolers has been quite dramatic and the design behind them gives alot more than just a few degrees here and there.

look around the boards abit there is plenty of info and work out which is best for your requirements

Basicly what I look for since I have an open res, is if i have enough water left in my res, and is there contamination or discoloring in the water or anything and the hose isn't blocked. Thats it!

Just read the boards, check out the guides and work logs w/pics, ask questions when in doubt.............and when you're ready to get your feet wet and have your confidence up get advice, leak test outside the case and than install UV dye & lights so any leaks stand out like a grey haired hippy under black light.....
stay logged on when you fire your system up for last minute probs.....and enjoy.
