OK I'm seriously thiniking of getting into watercooling (NO MORE noise from my Volcano 12!). I've looked around the web and came up with these parts...
__________________Danger Den TDX CPU waterblock - $52.95 Danger Den Maze4 GPU waterblock + hold down brackets - $54.98 Danger Den Maze4 Chipset waterblock - $38.99 '84 Chevrolet Chevette heater core - $28.49 Electric pool pump @ eBay - $9.99 Misc. tubing and other stuff I probably forgot - $30 TOTAL: $215.40 What I'm thinking is mounting this EXTERNALLY in it's own little box on top of the tower and using the blowhole that's already in my computer to run the tubes through. Questions? Comments? Suggestions? ALSO a question about the GPU waterblock, it cools both my core and ram right?

1. The 77' Bonnie is really the only way to to heatercore wise (since it is said to be the best heatercore for WCing, and it only costs $14.50 with tax from autozone).
__________________2. Chipset blocks are pointless, they don't do anything that a good air chipset heatsink, besides serverly limit your flow, for nothing. 3. There is no point on wasting your money on that Maze4 from FrozenCPU.com, just buy the Maze4 from Tigerdirect (where I got mine). It cost me like $42USD shipped WITH the ATI and Nvidia mounting hardware packed with the block. Just thought I would point those things out for ya. Good luck.

Sorry to say, But there is no way in hell that your tubing will be held on if you have that pump in the loop.
![]() Best get something a little smaller. ![]()

Yeah, pond pumps are kinda scary anyway.
__________________I suggest a Hydor L40 from www.marinedepot.com if you are worried about flow (700+ GPH should be enough... lol). Aww crap, where did the L40 go? Oh well, an L35 should be enough, or with the money you saved from not buying a chipset block, and Bonnie heatercore, you gould go for the 920 GPH goodness of an L45! ![]()

1. no point in getting Chipset block
2. strongly recommend getting a better pump. like D5 pump. ( i have Hydro L 45 and it works awesome 945 GPH!!!)

Well, I'm going to need some kind of cooling upgreade for my chipset, the only thing I have is the cheap little fanless HS that came with the motherboard. I think this should do it. I remember using the aluminum version with my FX5200 and it working well. Wasn't too loud, either.

About the Bonneville heater core, is this it? There were two different models (I'm not exactly a gearhead). BTW look at how big it is there enough space for 2 120mm fans!
