Default KOOLANCE Water cool

Why does the KOOLANCE Water Cool have a VGA port? And, as a side note, Is this cooler good, or bad?

It's for power and temp monitoring. From what I have read it's a really good cooler!

That's a 9 pin serial port connector.

It's not actually VGA. It is just a cable to transmit data from the expansion slot that the tubes go into. It tells you info on the temps and water levels. Check the images on Koolance's website.

While Koolance is a very good "quality" product, you can get much better cooling with this kit for a lot less...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835108076
the swiftech kit is considered to be the best "kit" available.

koolance make very good quality products, but they are also into building stylish universal kits. So they arent cheap, and are not the best in water cooling. If you are just looking to get into the water cooling world, and arent in need of super high performance cooling, get the koolance if you have the cash to boot. But as others have stated above, you can build a custom kit for the same price or cheaper, that will outperform the koolance by a fair margerin.

Is the TT Bigwater a good cooler? If not, where can I find some good water cooling parts?
