hey, just wondering what stuff can i fill my water cooling back up with? at the moment it just has some gigabyte coolant in. putting my rig together i lost a bit of it on the carpet
__________________ so what can i fill it up with? it keeps making a beeping noise to warn me its low, many thanks ![]()

cheers for that, but im the uk and i rather not have to order anythink of the net, is there any house old stuff or things i can buy easily out of shops ? i reckon i need about 300 - 500 ml

go to ur local garage and get a bottle of de-ionised water aka distilled water.

yeah, you can just top off your system with distilled water. There is already additive in your loop to stop corrosion. Then you can shop around for what you want to add and what color you want.

Distilled or deionised water. Its easy enough to get - its used for car coolent and in irons. Add to this a little ethan-1,2-diol antifreeze to discourage algae, and you have a coolent thats just as good as any of the expensive ready-made ones.
__________________In an emergency - if your cooling system just leaked empty and you have urgent work to do - tap water will do for a time. Its not good for the system though, so replace it with deionised when you can.
