Yea, if you're going to drop ~$300 on a kit, you might as well build a custom setup. If you took that budget (~$300), you could build a SICK external WC setup...just like I did

Right, but you want to be external correct? the only things in the case with an external setup would be the res, waterblocks, and some tubing (minimum).

EDIT: You can even have an external res if you want.

Put it all outside man, it makes it sooo much easier to work on, Mine can be completely disconnected from the water dystem within a few minutes:

I personally don't like my setup being external like it is right now. There is just too much extra tubing and it's just plain messy. Not to mention the extra liquid that is needed (when you're running MCT-5 it hurts). My BIX III will be inside.

If your case is too small just buy a CM Stacker off ebay for $70. It is the best $70 I've spent on my system. Most people are running external and it's fine, but I prefer to be able to take my system somewhere without draining it or calling in a team to move it.

I agree with you totally...if you are looking to be portable. But honestly, if you are looking for that, then just get good air cooling, or a ready made WC kit that is designed to fit inside a case. I really don't think a LAN box should be Water Cooled. Some people just want to use water for the "wow" factor and not the utility of it. If "wow" is what you want, then it is a ready made kit you need. But if you want a system that lets you OC farther and run cooler, you almost always need to go external.

And yes I understand you can get a bigger case and cram your external stuff inside of that. But then that shoots the portability factor right down the toilet as you end up with a 60lb case to lug around.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Yeah, I'm with these guys. Build your own setup, but I differ in that: I like my setup inside my case. Then again, my case is actually big enough for the setup.

I'm in if for the "wow". Meaning "Wow you're running that fast!"

I'm 6' 3" and quite "bulky" ...60lbs is not that bad for me. The BIX rads fit perfectly in the front of a CM stacker with some Velcro. 3M has this crazy plastic Velcro stuff that holds up to something like 80lbs so that rad isn't moving for nothing. I use the same stuff for my pump. I'll get the name of it for anyone that is interested.

I`m very confused now.. I just want a very god cooling ... What is the best to do .. to just get an external water cooling or build my own external watercooling.. and im not i guy that needs mobility i got a laptop for that hehe..

Then I would say go external with a heatercore, an apogee CPU block a
Maze 4 For GPU and the pump and reservoir of your choice, you can get 120 volt pumps starting at about $20 and you can make the reservoir.
