Yeah, I can just intersect them and delete from there, but I think I like all the lines
Yeah, 0.872 would be great, that's the distance from the raised portion to the very end of the top ![]()

Set the gasket up as an "o"ring. the design of an Oring will stop the pressure from pushing the gasket out. If you look at any other manufactured block....they all have Orings in them. This allows for the top to clamp on and seal with much less gasket pressure and less torque on the screws. A flat gasket will require more clamping pressure to remain seated and sealed.

It's crazy easy, I learned it in about 2 hours, then I worked it until 12AM last night to come up with the primitive block design, then refined it this morning. What's really nice is that it's free

Take your time. I'm still revising the block to make sure the inlets and outlets are right where they should be ![]()

Looking at your gasket you have a pretty long run between the two mounting bolts, You may want to consider making the sides a bit thicker and adding a couple of screws on the sides as well. If you have access to a milling machine I would try to go the "O" ring method but even that would almost require a CNC machine.

Well, the two ones that run from the top to bottom are explicitly for mounting the blocks together, while the two side ones are going to compress the gasket, but it also mounts the complete block to the socket. Is that still not good enough? I may be able to fit two more in if need be.
