The machining for both the baseplate and the delrin top are within ~20 bucks of each other, this stuff gets real expensive. It looks like, for 3 blocks, it'll cost ~120 bucks per block.

I doubt it; I'll need to make at least 3 revisions before it's ready to be shipped to everyone else, and then I'll need ~400 bucks to do 3 blocks...Unless someone privately finances me with the money to do the block revisions, It's a dead deal...

Okay...I was a wee bit off on my pricing specs.
For a run of 4: Each set will cost $115 Shipped to your door. I'll need about 3 runs to get the design right though, so it'll be a bit more of an investment up-front.

Burn, I am looking into going water cooled for my Intel Pentium D machine (sig) and my AMD Athlon 64 X2 machine. IF I do go water I would want 1/2" ID tubing on both systems. Can you design blocks for graphics cards as well? Lastly, if you accept payment through paypal I could easily buy 2 CPU blocks and 2 GPU blocks (for X800XL and X1900XT) from you at a slightly "inflated" price to help you out
__________________ The trouble is I won't be buying for a while and IF I do it will be only if somebody buys my laptop from me as that is the only way I'll get the cash. Sound like a deal to you?If you can do GPU blocks for graphics cards, PM me about it but I would want a GPU only block for the X800XL and a full card solution like the DD X18 for my X1900XT. And you did say that your CPU block can be made to fit any platform correct? I would need 1 s939 and 1 LGA775.

Okay, an update! I found someone to prototype the entire block from start to finish! Name will not be mentioned, you know who you are
You have no idea how thankful I am.Anyway, the design went through several emergency modifications last night, and for good reason: The machined out pins area isn't big enough to cover the AMD or Intel IHS, so I redid the design with more pins, it will cover the entire package now. So, with a bunch of Delrin in hand, this person who will not be named will machine out for me the two parts tomorrow, ship them off, and I'll be cracking! I need to thread some stuff, but it'll work out great! On another note, I need to begin to look where I'm going to get my copper and Delrin. Does anyone know online where to get these metals?

Woburn, Ma. should be close enough for cheap shipping of your metal needs:
http://www.admiralmetals.com/AdmiralWeb/index.jsp For Plastic, Acetal, Delrin, Acrylic, Nylon, Nylatron, Polycarbonate, Teflon http://www.onlinemetals.com/ rocks, since it's out here in Seattle you may wanna pass on thier metals though.
