Burn, why do you want to go with the Delrin top? Machine cost would probably cost the same. I guess I just like the look of brass, it would look great in brass.

I could do brass- The design would not change. I guess Delrin looks pretty cool, flat black looks really cool to me.
It doesn't matter, I can do either. I priced out some C110 at admiralmeatals.com, they said for 5 blocks cut to my spec, they're ~42 bucks apiece. Forget it. I had to maintain a 34.5mm squared area for the pins. 34.5mm squared comes from the A64 package specification, available here: http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/cont...docs/31411.pdf

Ya Danger Den is the cheapest on the 2" bar stock, make sure you change the shipping option on their page, it is not cheapest by default.

Whats this about pins? Did you change the design from the drilled holes in the base to pins now?

Nope, I meant the holes drilled into the base
Wrong wording. I'm looking at materials cost right now, either DangerDen.com or onlinemetals.com is going to get my business, both depend on what dimensions I'm going to use and prices. Onlinemetals does both 2" and 4" widths, so I'm guessing it comes down to price now.
