Sounds good, ill reseat the HSF with some AS5 I can managed to get my hands on and set the pump on the bottom and then see how that works out.
__________________And fstfrddy whats so bad about the rad? And one last thing, is there a way I can get all the air out my res?

yeah, if you get that pump on the floor of your case or even sitting right behind your case you'll get more circulation and you can probably trim up your tubing some as well.

yea, always have the res as the highest point and the pump as the lowest. this will greatly improve your flow because wc pumps are designed to push water thru the tubes, not pull it. also putting the res on the top will make bleeding your system easier... all the air will flow to the res... and the res doesnt hafta be 100% full of water, just as long as the ports are under water at all times.
your system should be set up like in the pic...

After reading, there might be a water flow problem with that pump being high.
It would be interesting to see what find of flow you are getting with the pump at the top. Not sure how you can accurately check this unless you have a flow indicator.

Ahken, many of us are using these pumps with success, no they are not the Cadillac of pumps but they do suffice. Most important is to follow instructions given by experienced members, don't just go off and do your own thing, now you see what happens when you do not take the advice of the veterans. The parts you have will work if put together properly.

yea, the baggy trick is for other arctic silver products, with as5 you just put a lil dot about the size of 1/4 to 1/3 pea on the middle of your processor... it will spread out on its own when you put the block on
