Question Whats the deal with Laing + MCP655 vs D5

So I was forced to order my D5 over ebay because no online store that ships to Australia stocks it that I know of, well it arrived today and it was falsely advertised because its actually a Laing branded imitation.... or is it the same pump under difrent packaging???

Assuming it is an inferior imitation, I have the option to buy a MCP655 or risk it again with someone diffrent over ebay and try again for another D5, It will be powering a dual radiator, a G5, a Maze4 and a drive bay res all under 1/2" ID tubing.

I have DD D5 and both the MCP655 & D5 are just Laing Ecocircs that neither Swiftech or DD even bother retagging. So, you actually got what you paid for.

Yes.

The Swiftech MCP650 and MCP655, and the Danger Den D5 (DD5) are just Laing D5 pumps sold on by Swiftech and Danger Den under their own brand.

I thought the 650 was a D4 pump, not a D5 (could be wrong...)

the swiftech MCP650 and the DangerDen DDC look nothing like each other.

isn't the DangerDen DDC = Swiftech MCP350?

oh, just thought I'd add... I heard that Swiftech got a shipment of 18w pumps instead of the normal 10w ones for their MCP350 so there may be a new MCP355 released... same thing just more powerful or something like that.
