Dont bother with the sleeving it wont get you that much of a difference where a water cooling setup can give you an immediate change in temps. My temps actually went up after I tucked them away and hid them, you have to make sure there is the right amount of flow in the case for all that.

I would actually hold off on getting that for $80 and save it to get a totally custom kit that you'll have for a while IMO

If you're scared of putting water near your computer, then go with Non-conductive coolant. I use it, and it's saved my butt once already. I'll never forget looking at my computer and wondering why the Predator was bleeding on it. UV Green... sticks out.

dammit. im too chicken to put water near my pc which i invested too much money in. how big of a difference in temps did you see with a lapped BT?

I answered you ? in my thread too... lol I got a kick out of it bc I subscribed to my thread so I got an email telling me what you said... and then when I got there all it said was 'opps' lol

anyway here's what I've seen.

LOL

I saw about a 6-8 degree drop in temps for my load cpu temps. My lapped bt would keep my opty at 38-40 and water is keeping it about 31-34. my gpu dropped about 15-20. there were times when my gpu load temps would reach 60 and now they don't go above 40... and actually since the arctic silver has had more time to cure I haven't seen my gpu go above 36 and my cpu above 32-33.

here's a screenshot of my temps. the first one I just took now and the second was w/ my BT so it was a few weeks ago. It is a bit cooler since it's morning, but I shouldn't see more than a 2-3 degree raise in temps on the cpu later on today. Not sure about summer... but hopefully I'll be getting AC

this is good advice. I've seen videos where someone took an old crappy system hooked it up and then poured some non-conductive fluid on the gfx card (common place for spills) and it kept right on going.
