It should hold up fine. Just tell him not to tighten the nuts to much. Finger tight is plenty, and run it for 24 hours before he installs it in the system.

I don't think the block will crack, but what does he want to cool? If it's only the CPU then it'll be fine but if he want a complete loop, CPU/GPU/Chipset or even CPU/GPU he shouldn't be considering it, but it all depends on what he's cooling as well.
You should tell him, "You get what you pay for"

LOL...at least we're on the same wavelength.
Tell him as well "Did you buy a pre-built PC??" .... "Then why would you buy a pre-built watercooling kit??" No reason to skimp becuase spending a lot of money to get slightly better than air temps would really piss me off

I showed him all the info (I had to translate
__________________ ), the sucker wont give up!If he wants crap, Ill give him crap but I had the obligation to tell him. ![]() Thanks alot guys! BTW, I think he actually meant the SE version when he described it to me! The 745 is cheap (less than $100), so Ill just give him the "good one" instead! The guy's PC is not a pre-built! It's a beast! a 170 opty, SLI-DR Expert, Dual 7900GT etc... (Stronger than my FX-55 )Peace out! ![]()

The SE version is actually not as good as the 754.
__________________Either way its still a decent kit, and when pjlietz said to test it, what you need to do is install it in the case but then run it without the power on and some of the other components out so that you can test it for leaks. It would be pointless to set it up outside the case, test it only to take it apart before setting it in the actual case. That defeats the whole point of leak testing.

Im using the TT Big Water 745, and have fairly good temps with it I would guess. I just posted in the Water Temp discussion that Gator made so that'll give you an idea of the performance out of it.
