Ok, I had the idea of building a fish tank-stile base for my case out of lexan, putting a pond pump in it and using it as my res. It would need to be as long as at leaset as wide as my case, and high enough for the pump to fit in. However, I dont as yet have a good way thought of to fill/empy it and to get at the pump if it breaks or somthing. Any ideas?

Make the top on hinges, so all you have to do is take off your case, open the lid, and fill 'er up. (Just put some rubber or silicone around the top edges to seal it.)

What you do is this. Purchase the fish tank and then cut a small 2.5" or so sized hole in the front of it where it is conveninet. Then you take the same peice of glass or plastic that you just cut, and then put it in the same hole at an angle outward, and then take liquid silcon and slowly start to fill the gaps. Once you are done add a lid and you can just pour water in there as you need it.
