Default The time has come for watercooling

Okay, I've been considering watercooling. I don't know a whole lot about it, but I I've learned enough to know that custom is the way to go. I won't be getting this probably for at least a couple months, but here's the parts list I'm thinking about.
Edit: System to-be as of 6/10/06
Swiftech Apogee - $44.95 from jab-tech.com
Black Ice GT Stealth 240 - $49.95 from performance-pcs.com (I'll put it in the front, along with my iCage)
Swiftech MCP655 - $65.95 from voyeurmods.com
Tanky (2 x 3.5" drive bay) Reservoir - $27.99 from performance-pcs.com (put it in my rear drive bays)
Thermaltake Thunderblade x 2 - $21.98 from performance-pcs.com
10 feet of UV Green Primoflex - $12.90 from voyeurmods.com

I might add a GPU waterblock later, we'll see. What do you guys think?

that looks good so far. I'd go w/ either a double heater core or a black ice gt 240 instead of the bix though.

what will you be using for tubing?

You can get better prices if you shop around a bit...

Not sure what I'll use for tubing, like I said, don't know alot when it comes to watercooling. Most of the places I shop for PC parts on have very limited selections on watercooling parts.

Edit: Damn, just noticed that the BIX is 3/8". I thought high-end WC used 1/2 inch for better flow? Oh well, can anyone reccomend a good site for WC supplies/parts?

places I have shopped to get my wc gear:
jab-tech.com - great site, and the cheapest place to get the apogee
sidewinder - good selection
frozencpu - usually the most expensive, but great service and fast shipping
performance-pcs.com - similar to frozencpu, but w/ better prices
mcmaster.com - best place to buy tubing

if you read the stickies there are a whole bunch of other places to get wc stuff from.

and you can get the BIX w/ 1/2" barbs... you just have to specify

Alright, thanks soloz. From what I've seen, your WC setup kicks butt, so your guidence is really helpful.

www.Voyuermods.com
Has the mcp655 of sale now for $65 (10-15 cheaper then anywhere else)
They also have 1/2" Primoflex tubing for $1.29 a foot

I think it as jab-tech that has the Swiftech Apogee CPU block on sale for $45 as well.

Okay, so I've read that a res is not neccesary if you have a T Fitting... why is that? I know what a T fitting is, but how can that replace a reservoir?

It's $1.29/foot, the Clearflex 60 is $.99/foot.

Okay, so how much tubing do you actually need? 5 feet? 10 feet?
