Alright guys.. forget the HD bay stuff for now. I done some work today.
__________________The cut - I don't think I did that great of a job, but I am a perfectionist when it comes to this type of stuff. First time I even picked up a Dremel.. I wish I would have cut a full box. I might go back and do some changes - make a full rectanguar cut. Oh, and I couldn't resist etching a K in to the case. I was actually going to do oSoVaR across but I didn't think there was enough space - it looks fine though. I might end up sanding and painting the whole thing black once I figure this whole project out. Right now I'm just wingin it. ![]() The heatercore - Fits perfectly snug. The in/out will go right behind the 5.25 bays and it will be almost NEXT to the res that I have... ![]() Back of panel - Yea.. this is the back. ![]() Ok so.. now I want to make a mount of some kind that hangs out of the case and screws in so the heatercore fits snug. I want to put a grill on top of that. So what should I make it out of and how should I mount it.. plenty of time and a little bit of cash. Opinions :-D

This is what I want to do with the mount on the back of the case. I will get some dimensions tomorrow but you guys tell me if it's worth the time and doable?
__________________![]() It will be like a shroud I suppose.. but mounted to the back panel. I will put a thin layer of rubber around the inside lining so the fans don't vibrate the heatercore which will vibrate the case. Opinions / Suggestions?

Alright.. I got all of my stuff in today, so I need to do this shroud, mount it in the back, and set this bad boy up. It's lookin good... real good. The pump is in, the apogee, the tygon, the AS5.. all I need to do is set it up, but I'm gonna take my time. I don't want this mounting/shroud job to be a crappy one.

Nah that's not the problem. I don't know how to bend the metal.. and don't know which metal to use and how to mount it. I got this huge picture in my head that I drew out for you guys but I don't know how to piece it together.

*bump*
__________________No progress yet.. however, my Dad is kind of pissed that I bought the Dremel. I tried to convince him that I will be using it in the future but he's not goin for it. Uhm.. he told me we should get something bigger and nicer that we could all use. Any suggestions on that? Something I can use for modding but something he could use for whatever he does.. he just doesn't like the Dremel... and I don't know much about tools, but I like to learn.. so hit me up :-p I am also having a hard time finding a sheet of aluminum to make my shroud out of. Anybody know where I can get like.. a 2ft by 2ft sheet of aluminum? .. the thickness about the amount of an average sidepanel, maybe thinner? Sorry about the lack of production.. al my W/C stuff is just chillin. This tygon feels realy nice.. oooooo
