Default Dual 80mm rad able to handle my system?

Do you think a dual 80mm black ice rad would be able to handle my CPU and GPU?

It should be ok, but really if you can fit it then get the tripple rad. In this case bigger does equal better.

I would (I would use 120mm if I could) but the case I might be using only has space for a dual 80mm.

I don't think it'll handle both your cpu and gpu. it'll maybe work for your cpu though.

Nope I wouldnt do it. The 920 will add a lot of heat and the x1800xt will add even more heat. Go for a dual heatercore and mount it outside the case.

Well, let us work this out mathematically:
80mm x 2 = 160mm x 80mm = 12800mm squared.
120mm x 1 = 120mm v 120mm = 14400 mm squared.
Therefore, you can expect about 88.8% percent performance of a 120mm radiator, which would more than handle your system, given you have at least and MCP655. The MCP350 would not do the trick. I would still mod the case to accept a single 120mm rad, even a dual 120mm rad if I were you, but the 80mm x 2 radiator will do well enough.

Just do not expect drop dead performance similar to many others' setups.

I disagree. both the cpu and gpu he is using put out a lot of heat. I still stand by my previous statement that the dual 80mm rad will work for the cpu alone, but it will not be enough for both the cpu and gpu. your best bet would be to get a vf900 for the gfx card and water cool the cpu
