90% of all the latest cooling gear (from reputable companies anyway) comes with G1/4 threads, it's only Thermochill rads and the new EK DDC Top that come with a larger thread (3/8").
So in answer to your question, it will cool as well as any other decent waterblock out there! ![]()

these cool very well, got one on mine and temps dropped from 59c idle to 32c sharing the cpu loop on 3/8 id tube.
