I'm assuming you're talking about an "Add to Cart" button done through paypal?

If so, there should be a tab somewhere in Dreamweaver that allows you to edit the HTML, probably labeled something like "HTML".

From there, you should be able to get a general idea of where everything is. If you paste the code given to you by paypal and go back to Dreamweaver's preview function, you should be able to see where it is on the page.

If it's not through paypal or another payment processor, then you're going to need to do a lot more because you'll have no payment processor and an "Add to Cart" button would be useless without one.
