Anyhow I was wondering what software could I use to build a site preff. something thats free.....

Also i would like to link OCN on my site do I need to hand in a request or do I need authorisation or what?

And I would like a search facility on it as well, how?

Short and sweet: For the custom options, you'll need your own web host account and domain.

Free sites block alot of options, and you won't have database access, which is needed for a site search engine.

Cost for shared hosting is so insanely low now (basic service), milk money could pay for the account each month.

for search function I meant like a google link or something.....
This site allows me to upload my own files as well....
So what wysiwyg program is the best? Any suggestions....

Have a look here for various free WYSIWYG HTML editors to build your site. Have a look here for a free site search engine that doesn't require databases etc. I've used FreeFind both for free and paid-for and they're a good company. Their search configuration is easy enough to use and their up-time is very good. The paid service is worth the money.
