In my Compsci 2 class in school i'm kinda the slow one when it comes to learning javascript and i'm having a bit of trouble with it it just sometimes does not make sense to me. i was wondering if there are any good books to read. I'm currently reading
But that book is published in 2000 and is WAY out of date so i'm thinking to pick up Becasue i like the format of these books. Any other ideas for me to begin with Please don't laugh at me ![]()

I am sure they are quality books.
__________________To be honest if you can use those books to get a foothold in JS and learn the basics then you can move on to just about any book to continue learning, even internet resources (w3schools I highly recommend). This might sound pointless, but I learned JS from w3 and random websites with a little help from people I know, so I am very little help when it comes to books. Is this the first scripting/programming language you have learned?

I have recently fallen in love with the Head First programming books. By FAR the best ones out there imo - I use the C# one all the time!

I've always been partial to O'Reilly. I have an early edition of this
