Where here is the deal. I am designing a website for a company and I'm having a lot of issues with auto-centering. This is all while using Dreamweaver CS3.
__________________I'm using AP Div layers to position the pictures and text locations around the page. I am able to center the backround image, but the Div layers stay in the same spot and will not auto-center when the page is maximized. What am I doing wrong? Can I fix this without redoing the whole thing? ![]() *note- each image and text link is a seperate layer and cannot be moved all at once.*

If I put them in a table then I can't use the Div properties to align everything correctly...

Well, to my knowledge, you cannot auto center layers like that. You have to use tables.
Why are you doing everything in layers like that? I used to do that when I was starting out with web designing because it was basically a big WYSIWYG editor. Try doing that exact thing with a table instead of using DIVs.

Can't DW do that?

I tried that and it says that the file cannot be made compatible with 3.0 browsers because it contains nested AP divs. What now?

I don't have DW on my laptop. I won't be home until late tonight either.
I could do it in Front Page, but that wouldn't help you.
