Default ASP.NET on Linux?
Anyone know a way to use websites created in ASP.NET on Linux servers using FTP as a medium to set it up?

DiagnosisDirt is correct and I believe that is your only option.

Mono is pretty useful, we use it some times, but keep in mind it will always be a few iterations behind on the .net framework.

Funny, I just wrote in another post a mini rant about not using ASP.net, and seeing this kinda proves my point. ASP.net can be limiting towards what platforms can run it (Windows only). The mono project would be one solution, but in terms of finding web hosting, most web hosts will still be using Windows if you want ASP.net support.

I exchanged for a Windows server. Work is progressing 10 times faster now since i know allot about the Windows platform.

I've said it before : don't doubt Microsoft can do something right.

Also i would be getting things done faster if there wasn't a remote access limitation. I've concluded Linux and Windows both suck because of this.

Yeah, due to this same issue I'm now working on getting my own windows server set up to host my projects. Nothing like having the server in your room for easy access!
