Borrow some server space? - Overclock.net

I am trying to play around with the Dolphin CMS by Boonex and freehosts of any sort dont seem to be able to run the scripts needed. It isnt anything crazy at all, it is just that they dont support the right stuff.

So the bottom line is, does anyone have any server I can put this on to play around with it? I prefer ftp and cpan but can deal with just one or the other if necessary. I do prefer ftp though.

Im not sure. Just enough for the install files. From there I am just editing the template to my needs. The install requires one database though. Not a big deal. :P

in any case it helps because it shows you how to install a Windows Apache MySQL PHP server at home. If all you need the space for is testing and installing a CMS its probably a good idea.

000webhosting is free w/ftp, mysql databases, ect. it's pretty much free paid service.

I tried 000webhost. They have that lame vista panel stuff if I remember right.

This wamp think isnt working. I am getting error messages on my "site" and I cant even install the CMS.

If you've got a spare rig or so lying around, you can install Apache and everything using XAMPP, and just test things out like that.
