Well, I need to run a site+forum and a wiki program deal called Trac. I also want to have FTP space for all the members of the team so we can share files easily. What would be the best way of doing that in a cheap way?
Dont suggest running a server from home. Thanks.

I've been using domain and hosting from Register.com, It's fairly cheap what the package I'm using.
Also used MyDomain in the past.

Rent shared hosting. Pick a provider with relatively low bandwidth limits (25-100GB) for speed, one with large limits for... well, bandwidth (but it'll be slow).

I would look into some VPS hosting probably. I am currently working with a company in Luxembourg - if you are looking for a dedicated server they are very reasonable. www.server.lu

I use godaddy for hosting and they are pretty good. Its about 5 a month for 10gb storage and 300gb bandwidth.

I've used HostDime for years and the quality and service is always top notch.
Have not checked prices lately but it was around 16$ for their larger package with full web, mysql and unlimited emails.. Something like 1-2gb of bandwidth a month and 500g storage.. It's been a few years since I've hosted with them but always was worth it for me. www.hostdime.com Just checked.. their cheapest package is 9$ monthly and has: 200GB Disk Space 2000 GB of Bandwidth Host 10 Domains
