Default My hardware review site - Current Template.

http://rendergfx.com/FyreByte

This is what I did the other day, if OCUK or XFX get back to me this hopefully should happen.

None of the review links work OTHER than the first one for the XFX HD 5850 which is just a quick fake review I did to see how it would look.

Hope you like it so far.

- Toon

Looks pretty sweet so far. Are you wanting critique on this or just comments?

It's pretty good. But if you're interested in a kick-ass design, I'd be more than willing to help as I really want to start a hardware review site. I have 6 years of design work under my belt. PM me for links to work I've done before. I'd do this all for free, of course, but I want to partner up.

Just looking for what people think of the design and constructive criticism.

categories would be nicer than just having all the reviews in one group. Seperate them into CPU, GPU, Powersupply, ram, case.....

I like the template, but the menu links are too small to read.

Wouldn't a CMS be a better option for creating a review site? (E.g. Wordpress)

A CMS would allow for better categorization and search, better SEO, commenting, scheduled posts, and a whole lot of other stuff.

Here's an example of a review site:
http://www.hitechreview.com/

I would do an HTML site when the site's content is going to be static. A review site is more dynamic.

Looks pretty nice IMO.

My only suggestion is a better logo.

The red and black theme + "Totally awesome dude" logo just screams that a 15 year old made it. Stick to a lighter theme. Make the menu a bigger font. In fact, just scrap your current design all together and use a CMS like drupal or joomla. It'll make managing it a hundred times easier.
