Default Simple Machines Forum and the "GD Module"

Hi all,
I host with godaddy and have recently put up a forum for my family/guild to use. I've installed Simple Machines Forum and it seems to satisfy everything we need. The only problem I have is that I want peeps uploaded avatars to be resized to the appropriate dimensions. SMF is capable of this but it says that it requires the "gd module" to be installed. I've looked into this and bit and have no clue how to do this, lol. Can anyone help? I should mention that it is shared hosting and not a dedicated server.

Thanks!
Z

Create a simple php file and just insert this one line:
Code:
<?php phpinfo(); ?>
Load the page and check which version of PHP you are running and if the GD module is enabled

For GD, my phpinfo shows:
Quote:
GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
