how does one obtain the coords=

One way is to open the image in MS Paint. Scrolling with your mouse reads out co-ordinates at the bottom in pixels.

if the image is 2D

starting point to hight and starting point to width

Uh, shouldn't be.

Mine says: 500,360px

This is with Windows 7 paint. There will be easier ways im sure though. Google around.

lol thanx i got it with the main article now
x1,y1,x2,y2 If the shape attribute is set to "rect", it specifies the coordinates of the top-left corner and the bottom-right corner of the rectangle
x,y,radius If the shape attribute is set to "circ", it specifies the coordinates of the circle center and the radius
