getting rid of 2nd boot option...
i currently have windows xp pro, i was going to install the windows media center edition, then i decided not to in the initial installation, cancelled. now everytime i restart or turn on my computer i get the stupid boot screen to choose from to options. (windows cd is not in cd-drive)
__________________1. windows xp or 2. windows setup. how can i get rid of that boot option screen and get it to go directly to windows??

Go to C:\ and type in the address bar C:\boot.ini. The under [operating systems] delete line that say windows setup. Remember delete one whole line, not two or more. After removing that line, save and reboot. As for future proof, make backup before you attempt to do anything.
