Greetings,
__________________I'm new here but had a quick question... I just had some problems with an xp installation and decided to format and start anew, however after plugging in 3 assorted floppie drives i had laying around none will work properly. I have tried every variation in the BIOS, different cables, connectors and different power supplys and everything else imaginable to no avail... my system fails to recognize any of the floppy drives. And I have to have RAID so... I remember hearing about a program that streamlined windows and allowed you to make your own xp disks... I was thinking that I could include the RAID drivers on that disk? I have searched in this forum and google for what i thought the name of the prog was (enlite?) but could find no relevant result. If anyone has any relevant information on this problem I would be most thankful... I am dying without BF2 rofl

Thank you for your suggestion... however I really dont care to fix the floppy drive problem as I would never use it again... I simply wish to find another way to load my RAID drivers so that I can load windows. Unfortunately, I am not the most techinally accomplished person and am confounded by XP retarded decision to only allow f6 drivers to be installed from the A drive. Also I have no idea how to relabel a cd drive or usb drive or something that i know works to A. I'm just trying to install my legal copy of XP, and finding any way around having to use the A drive would be useful...

I'm pretty sure there is a way of slipstreaming the RAID drivers onto a windows CD.
But for the Life of me I cant rember how, I belive this would be your best bet if you cant get the A drive to work properly.
