Dos is per-installed onto the chipset.
I take it you're installing through a flashrom of some sort?

You format the drive from Windows. If you don't do it this way you will have done it though fdisk, which requires DOS, no need to install DOS

DOS is not installed on chipset and you will need a floppy disk that has been formatted as start up disk to have DOS run on it.

DOS is run from the motherboard. Anyway you will need to make a bootable floppy before you can do anything mate. DOS is always on your PC so you dont actually install it.
