Sideburns

Is there a way? My cousin just got an iPod...and the computer she wants to use has Windows 98. She needs a way to transfer, but you "need" windows 2000 or XP.

IS there any other software she can use that's as easy as iTunes? She's really young, and my Aunt isn't exactly computer literate.
