I'm running Windows x64, and I just tried to install GameDrive which was packaged with my BFG GeForce 7600GT. The install took over half an hour, which astounded me, but on top of that, it gave me some error message (which I can't remember now). I then rebooted my system and when I got to the Welcome screen, it took about 5 minutes to get past it. When I finally did get in, it was acting as though it had booted in Safe Mode without Networking (even though it never prompted me to do so, and it doesn't say Safe Mode in the corners of the screen).
__________________I then tried to uninstall GameDrive, but I got a Windows Installer error saying that it could not be accessed, because it might be in Safe Mode or not installed properly. After several reboots and uninstall attempts, I then decided to delete all of the files associated with GameDrive from my hard drive, delete all of the registry entries for it, and run Registry Mechanic to fix the registry errors. I am still sticking at the Welcome screen for several minutes, and I've pretty much run out of ideas. Any tips are appreciated. P.S. I also ran CHKDSK twice, the first time it said it fixed a problem with the MFT, and the second time it was clean.

The only thing I can suggest, is format your HDD, but make sure you do the proper format. Then stay away from game drive. From what I can tell, it only has partial x64 support, this may explain the incompatibility. Daemon tools is probably the best to use for drive emulation in x64 windows.

I had Gamedrive even with 32bit and it was a very sucky program if i where to be honest. As said above whne you do a format do a Full format and not a Quick one.
