Default Minimized windows disappears
Its rather strange actually. This morning when I wake up and turn on the PC, I logged onto AIM and opened up Firefox. However, when I minimize my chatbox window, it just disappears nowhere. Same thing happens when I minimize my firefox window. Before, I used to see all my programs running in the Task Bar below, but now none of them register in the task bar. Someone please help me.

Same thing happened to me, alt-tab and check if its still running first. If so it should re-appear on the bar and shouldn't happen again.

No its not there, and I supposed you meant bottom right because my clock is in the bottom right.
@ Chopes, yes I can see my programs running by holding Alt Tab but it does not do anything, I still can't see my programs in the bar below.

I had a virus/trojan as of late that did that.. It basically replaced your taskbar and clock I believe.. Just something to possibly search for and I will try after a few meetings at work, just wanted to chime that in as a piece of info before leaving...

Nope, no viruses/trojans/spyware found on my PC (I just scanned it thoroughly). Is there a configuration setting I should play with?

Get into Task Manager > File > New Task (Run...). type in (w/o the quotes) "C:\Windows\explorer.exe" then Enter. Try that

Never mind, I got it fixed by searching google. This link is all you need if anyone else gets this problem. Go to line 240 on the left side and download the small thing. Run it and it is all fixed.
