I find this story quite funny, but I have been chosen to fix it. Drat!
Anyways, my uncle was using DVD Shrink (reason will be undisclosed) and he fired up Yahoo Messenger and proceeded to chat with peeps. He thought that since it was ~90% complete, he should be in the green. Well, hard lesson learned. His computer went blank. He then proceeded to reboot his system and attempted to boot into safe mode. As soon as he hit enter, the system restarted again! No matter which option he selects, it still reboots. Then, my dad told him to restore windows using the windows CD. But, here's the thing, instead of bringing him to the command prompt, like it usually does, it asked him to make a bootable floppy. Well, when my uncle contracted me to build his system, he asked me not to install a floppy. So... what now? Uncle's system specs: PD 930 or 940 (Can't remember) 2GB Corsair VS DDR2-667 Giga-Byte GA-8I945-P Sapphire X300 128MB WD Caviar SE 250GB SATA Also, he lives in Pheonix, so my only contact with him is phone. When, and if, a solution arises, I'll contact him ASAP.

Wouldn't suppose you overclocked it any did you? If you did I could think of a few things that might be going wrong.

Sounds like an OS file got corrupt. Ok try the following mate.
1. Reset his CMOS. 2 Flash his BIOS to the altest release. 3. Make sure the HDD'S are still connected properly to the motherboard. If non of that works it looks to be a corrupted OS. To fix this do the follwoing. 1. Insert your OS install disk and boot into it through POST. 2. Once you have booted into it hit ''R'' for Repair . Now you will get a repair console come up. Once it hase try the following commands. In this order 1 .''FIXMBR'' 2. ''FIXBOOT''

It's not OC'd. My uncle wouldn't dare mess with anything in the BIOS. I think he does have the latest BIOS for that mobo. If not, then I'll guide him through.
He hasn't opened the case for any reason, so a loose wire cant be a problem. He has the SATA2 connectors with the clips. I'll tell him to try the recovery you have suggested ENTERPRISE.
