Wasn't sure if this was the thread-listing to post this under...
Trying to figure out what this is.... ![]() I only have 2 cards: vid card and sound card, both are displayed in the Device Manager. What is this third item. It is listed as an Ethernet Controller. I wonder if I bolloxed something up when I used Driver Cleaner Pro and did a clean on nVidia WD... did I delete a MoBo driver or something? Any ideas? Thanks. ![]()

Going Broke Overclocking

It says Ethernet, ie NIC or Net card.
There are many onboard devices that are refered to cards eventhough they are intergrated and still dependant on the PCI bus.

Thanks guys, so what do you recommend? Should I re-install the drivers that came with the MoBo? I suppose I could just try, but I thought that I would make some inquiries first.

Yeah, pop in the cd that came with ur mobo and it should launch a setup that detects what things are already installed...

As said Popin the CD with your motherboard drivers on and install the whole lot again and you should be ok..If not Windows Update may have the correct driver for it.

Yeah, thanks for helping me with my laziness... I did just reinstall the MoBo drivers that were associated with the Ethernet Controllers and it is back to normal.
Thread can be closed - Thanks.
