Not only do I NOT autohide, I double the size. I usually have a ton of apps open.

Nope mines on all the time...to much of a pain in the butt to have it disappear. It is just annoying when you have to have it pop-up to use the quick launch and then if mouse moves a hair..ya lost it and have to pop it up again.....pain in the butt....

Agree, and it lags when you want to click on one of the programs in the taskbar because the taskbar needs time to reappear. If the taskbar is there all the time, you can see where which programs are minimized.

I auto-hide. The only time its ever lagged for me is when I play garrys mod, my computer wants to kill itself then. Why does that happen with gmod? physics processing ftw? maybe?

Autohide suxxorz. I had mine double sized for a while, but I don't have tons of apps open very often, so it's normal-sized now.
