Default Dual Boot

Since I'm unable to run some software under x64, I want to setup a dual boot using two drives, my main drive for x64 & another for 2000. My M/B, GA-965P-DS3, will dual boot & it works fine except whatever drive I boot to wants to load a driver for the other drive. It thinks it's a CD-ROM. I don't want to see the other drive.
How do I fix this?

Thanks

open control panel, go to administrative tools, click on computer management, then on the left click disk management, and you can probably disable it from there. or you can do it from the device manager. That's xp, don't know about 2000

EDIT: Never mind, it don't think you can do it from there. Right click my computer, click properties, hardware, then device manager. right click the drive and select properties. then under device usage choose disable

I think that's what you're asking. If I'm wrong, please correct me.
