Question Vista Upgrade Coupon

I plan on building my first new system soon with an Asus P5B Delux and E6300.

I was thinking on just buying the Vista OEM to install, but with all the driver upgading i have to do it might be overwhelming.

Would it be better for me to buy XP Media with the upgrade? Install XP and upgrade later when things smooth out.

Can somebody explain the Express Upgrade Coupon? Would you receive a disk in the mail of a full oem copy of Vista so I would have 2 copies of windows kind of like buy on get one free? Can you choose which version, basic/home 32 or 64? If you were building a new system why wouldn't you go this route to have 2 versions of windows? Am I missing something?

Thanks for all your help!

i would buy vista...defintely get a 64 bit version
a clean install of vista will be much easier than an upgrade, and will take only 25-30 minutes.

for vista, you can either upgrade a current system with vista cds for less money, or a clean install for a little more - if you are building a new system, just get home premium 64 bit or ultimate 64 bit and dont look back, unless you really like xp (does anyone??)

Probably no overclocking at first, but would like to have the option later in life.

the e4300 allendale performs about 4% less then the e6300 at stock (not a noticable difference in games or most other things), and also has much higher overclocking ability due to the 9x multiplier. if i were you, i would get the e4300.
