Default Have to reinstall windows again

Once in A while I would boot in "admin" account and my computer will just restart, but all the other times it will boot fine. Every time I would restart my AUDIO drivers would just be missing and I have to reinstall. At first I thought my system was unstable but I did a memtest though the BIOS for 8 hours and no errors showed up and I did a orthos test and not errors showed up. So once again I have to reinstall windows XP..

Well see you in about 40 minutes OCN!

i HAVE VIRTUALLY THE SAME PROBLEM!

I've reinstalled windows a couple times and it seems to work for a while but then itt all goes to hell agin. about every 3rd or 5th boot-up my creative drivers dont start. and about every 10th or 20th boot the system hangs after i login. this has happend on all three HDDs i've used as primary drives on my e6600. It's made me hate creative, lol. also CS:S doesnt recognize or keep my 7.1 audio settings. I can have my hardwarwe all stock clocked and this still happens. i also ran the same stress testing u did. I've vowed that my next Sound Card isn't gonna be a Creative. Their drivers suck to bad, hehe...

I don't really want to back everything up then reformat and reinstall '
till i get vista, but i cant afford it right now... so i'm left with putting up w/ a half-functional computer, great...
