Hi guys.....
Just installed rocketdock..... cool program... But I still have My computer and Recycle bin icons on my desktop is there any way to remove them cause I cant seem to delete it.... I know its a registry hack but I dont know how... if someone would be so kind as to point me in the right direction please

Start > Right-Click My Computer / Recycle Bin > Uncheck "Show on Desktop"

Right click on the open desktop area ............. click properties and then click the desktop tab............then click customize desktop down near the bottom.......then uncheck the things you dont want on the desktop.....click ok......then click apply and ok.

Overclock it or Die!
|
The easier way if to right click the offending icon and hit delete. You can do this to My Computer/Documents, Network Places, and Internet Explorer.

I don't really want to find out, but what happens when you do it that way and tomorrow you want to put it back. I believe that would be problem. So if you follow my steps listed above, you can turn it on or off at will.

When you do it my way it tells you how to put them back on the desktop using the Display Properties > Desktop > Icons.
It's not any different just a bit faster.
