Hey, I have photoshop but it has some issues with vista. Photoshop (cs2) kicks you out of aero mode while photoshop is runng (I assume they use java in the program or something). Is there an updated photoshop or something or am I out of luck with photoshop.

I believe gimp works with vista. Its just like photoshop, you can find it here and best of all its free

Cool cool, anyone know if theres an update for photoshop that fixes this though? Photoshop is a little... more diverse in the applications if you understand what im saying.

I know CS2 is not the newest version and was wondering if in the new version the same problem persists.

why is that a problem, the minute you close it, it goes back to aero....

well according to adobe photoshop is supported, you can read the report here

perhaps it is a problem with the aero interface, a setting you need to find to prevent it from shutting off?

sorry I can't be of much more help, I bought vista ultimate today and Im in the process of backing up before I install it.

What happens with me is that some windows, either the main window or the windows within PS, will go back to regular but everything else stays Aero.

CS2 is the newest retail version...CS3 is still in the beta stages and can be downloaded here....if you have a valid CS2 serial

CS2 works fine with vista for me....not sure wot the problem is....What version of vista are you running ?

Right, any way to fix this? Maybe CS3 fixes this?
