Heres what Kopi did.

I have a new 160gb HD that i had to get as old maxtor tripped out and died on me. So i made partitions, for the first time ever haha

50gb for XP/Games
100gb for media/music

1) I have a bunch of pictures and music already on D://. If i have 2 users on the computer, how do i make it so that when i click on "My Pictures" in the menu it brings me to the pictures on my D://, not my C:// like the preset registry says it is. Remember now i have 2 users, when i tried this the first time i ended up clicking "My pictures" on my account and it would bring me to User2's pictures, not my own...i messed up somewhere. I'm formatting partition A and giving vista a go, so i'll have a clean slate to work with. Help with this is GREATLY appreciated.

2) I kind of regret making partition for XP/Games too small, i've heard of using Partition Magic or something along those lines, but am not sure how to use it to increase the size of that partition without it like, corrupting partition B

well, you could just make a custom icon on your desktop or something, then in the "target" feild of its properties, direct it to the right folder on D

wow people actually use those directorys.. and the start menu.. interesting i always turn off all those links i like my start menu nice and streamlined.. as for the partition stuff.. you can use partition magic to make your storage drive smaller .. then use the left over and add it to your primary or os partition.. .. i also never run a second user on my pc.. .. so for that part i cant help you.. you could always just put the pics up in a shared folder between the users sp both accounts can see them

Not so easy to have one user with a brother sharing the PC, like to have our own things lol

So im guessing in partition magic there are options like "decrease partition size" and "increase partition size"?

yes that is correct.. and tell your brother to f-off and get a job and build his own pc.. i dont care if hes 2 or not .. oh wait yea even better give him an ubuntu live cd.. and tell him he has to boot from that if he wants to use the pc
