Default How do i delete vista completely off my whole machine? (pix included!)

ok, soo this all started when i tried to merge two partitions together and my vista partition went corrupt! the two partitions merged but i couldnt boot up at all to vista, so i decided to format the the merged partition. and i did. the weird thing is that the option to select the OS for vista when my computer boots up is still there! i thought if i formated the partition it would of been gone. then i tried to reinstall vista thinking that'll fix it in the newly two merged partition. it installed and stuff but it got corrupted again after updating. do i have to delete a root file anywhere to get rid of the selection of the vista OS when i formated the partition where the vista is at?

here are sum pics of it

this is how my hard drives are layed out

disk 1

XP

disk 2

Partition for Storage

Vista

I think you can boot from your XP cd and go the recovery console and use the command "fixmbr"

Or do this.

you need to remove the bootloader, had the same issue when i removed RC1. Pretty simple, just type it in google.
