Vista doesn't install the onboard midi device :-S
"Windows Vista does not support MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device This problem was caused by a compatibility issue between Windows Vista and MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device."  Why VISTAAAAA ???

When I had Vista, I just ignored that. I had the same problem.
__________________They advised me to download the Windows 2003 ones, from the Microsoft site. Read this, it'll should tell you all you need to know: http://search.microsoft.com/results....-US&FORM=QBME1 Alternatively, you could try installing it under compatibility mode if you have the drivers.
