I would hold off on that until they release service pack 1, which from what i hear is in the works. People are having fits getting drivers to work with it right now.

Retail comes in the funky curved plastic box, with 'help' from MS and an instruction manual.

RTM/OEM comes in a normal dvd box, no help from MS, no instruction manual (thank god), costs half the price, but you cant change motherboards.....

Try and guess which one I just got

I like vista, and to clarify, people are having issues getting drivers to work with the 64-bit version, 32-bit works just fine!! And with OEM you still get the tech support from MS

The 6xxx series cards don't have the same issues the 7xxx ones do you'll be fine there. You have more than enough memory and CPU power for AERO and your HDD's are some of the better ones.

The 680i board and the XiFi might create some issues however.

Well Im plumping for 32bit Home Premium, cos unless you NEED 64bit due to work/hobby related programs needing it, it just causes problems as far as I can see....

And I really thought u didn't get Tech Support from MS with OEM..... but would it be useful help anyway?
