Default You Vista Pros..I need advice Please

Hi Folks,

I'm gonna reformat later today(Vista Home Premium) on my Lappy.
Any optimization tips, I want the bare minimum OS that will scream along.
Links and known working tweaks will be greatly appreciated.

Going to agree with you, If you want a fast OS don't install Vista. Even with tweaks it takes about 3x more then XP.

Hmmm...

Yea... The only reason I purchased Vista was for DX10. I didn't buy this 8800GTS for nothing.

Too bad I'm having a PAIN IN THE ASS time installing Vista.

I have installed and reinstalled vista so many times i swear my laptop harddrive hates me lol

In the end i went with XP pro, vista never worked out for me... seems too unfinished
