Your trying to install Vista on a clean RAID 0 setup? I'm going to be doing the same thing in a month.

I think you just set up the RAID 0 in your bios and everything, then start installing vista, and at some point you click the load drivers button and you stick in your floppy. This guide helped me a little. http://www.legitreviews.com/article/454/3/

And i don't mean to thread jack, but does it only work with a floppy? Or can you stick em on a regular CD?

Tell me how it goes, i want to know how u get it to work so i will be ready when the time comes upgrade to the big bad vista.

Why do you guys even bother with Vista, its sooo unstable anyways. At least for now, revert to XP and give it a few month before you upgrade.

but problem:
asus gives a program to write to the disk (no idividual files)
and the makedisk is designed to run in vista....(stupid)

Its only unstable for some, and regardless there are indeed a few DX10 games out. You need Vista for those.

Maybe the Beta was... The real version has been alot more stable than XP for me.

There are no DX10 games out. There is, however, 1 DX10 Geforce 88xx Series Demo.

Since when are there DX10 games out.

To install raid 0 on my Vista installation I had to open my chipset drivers with WinRar and take out the raid drivers manually, and put them on a floppy. Big pain.
