Default Cool Prank

I'm not resonable for this action, if you fork up the computer it isn't my fault.

Well the main prank is lower the ram down to 64Mb's for example. To do this, you have to set A option in msconfig. If you did this right, windows will boot to what number you chose.

This is how you do it:
#1. Start -> Run
#2. type " msconfig " without the quotes.
#3. Find the tab " BOOT.INI " without the quotes
#4. Click on Advanced Options
#5. Small window will popup, with some checkboxs
#6. Click / Check " /MAXMEM " without the quotes
#7. The box beside it will become white, thus rightable
#8. Put in a number, like 64?
#9. Reboot Pc and watch how slow it will but becuase it is only using 64MB's in total memory

So now you can do this @ your school and watch Nubs try to play online racing games or Internet Explorer taking 4 minutes to load

Most schools, or at least my school, have Deep Freeze installed so that when it gets shut down, everything reverts back to the normal settings. Would this in any way surpass that?

o we don't have that @ my school becuase it deleted files that people saved so they disabled it.

It's funny though, watching a tech guy comming and finding out that windows XP finds 64MB Of ram when there is 512MB installed

Haha, yeah I just wanted to know if I could experience that same joy.

The computers in my school are set up with a special partition for students to save files on. It's small, I'm on spring break right now so I can't remember exactly but I think it's about 100 mb. If you don't save it on to the T drive instead of the C drive, then your work is gone. People who don't know how to specify where to save their work often flip out the next day when its gone.

You guys probably don't know how to set it up. In the configuration process, DF allows you to create a partition that won't be wiped. Of course you can only save documents because you can't make start up into the fault exe, etc...

Cool prank tho.

LOL there is also I cool thing to

I forgot the full command, but right click on IE. properties and change the target to

Systemdrive:\windows\system32\shutdown -st -300

I'm not sure if that's the right command but close to it. Anyways what that command does is it will force the computer to shut down in like 3 seconds. Whenever A virus disables a serivce you get a window saying blah windows has to be shut down etc.. well this is what this command does but it's not harmfull
