Default Disabling Windows Firewall
I noticed today that I have the Windows Firewall currently on when I had thought it was disabled. I go to try and disable it, and i can't. Here is a pic, what is going on here???

Go to start>run>type services.msc

Find windows firewall and set it to disabled and restart.

That's the best way to end stubborn services like the Firewall. Once you kill it there, it's not coming back unless you tell it to.

I'm assuming this worked because its saying I need to start the service to go into Windows Firewall. I was just checking to make sure that its off, but anyway, thanks.
