I am using a Dual Boot with XP and Vista on a RAID0 array. Can someone with a hard drive setup tell me if they experience a gradual slowing down with XP?
I'm starting to wonder whether Vista's Superfetch is screwing up RAID0 efficiency in XP....Vista is fast as hell, so was XP......but seems to be slowing down a lot. Especially web browsing....

Do you regularly defragment your hard drives? A gradual slowdown can often be a sign of fragmentation.

I disabled superfetch in Vista.. I didn't see any difference when using it and not using it. It seems to work better for low-end and mid-range computers, High-end computers load everything fast enough as it is..
I would try defragmenting, as far as I know superfetch just loads stuff onto your ram, so if you were on XP it wouldnt do it.
